How It Works
Sculptra is a dermal filler that contains poly-L-lactic acid which is a biocompatible substance that stimulates collagen production. It can be used to treat deep lines, creases, and folds to give a more youthful appearance. It is most commonly used in the cheeks to restore lost volume.

While every patient is different, most people find the best results after receiving 1-3 sessions, spaced about 3-4 weeks apart.
With dermal filler, there is a slight risk of bruising at the injection site. Once you have the treatment done, it is recommended that you ice the area gently to prevent swelling and excessive bruising and we always recommend using either a topical arnica ointment or taking arnica tablets to ward off any other bruising.
The results with Sculptra are instant! You will notice your peak results after any bruising that has occurred heals up, which could take up to two weeks. However, much of your results will be visible the day of your treatment!
